Q. Do your watches have a warranty?
A. Yes, the watch movements are warranted against manufacturing defects for one year. Our watches use a Japanese Quartz Miyota movement that is reliable and accurate. See our printed warranty included with every watch for details. All watch repairs and replacements are handled at our San Francisco facility.

Q. What type of battery do your watches use?
A. Our watch batteries are standard disc batteries, available anywhere batteries for watches and clocks are sold. Average life for a watch battery is 12 to 18 months.

Q. Can I get a replacement watch band?
A. Yes, we can supply replacement bands for our watches. Please contact our repair department at ext. 207 or at repairs@tokyobayinc.com with requests and cost inquiries.

Q. What materials are used in your watches?
A. Leather, cotton, nylon, man made fabric, stainless steel or brass with chrome plating which may have a gloss, matte, antiqued finish or patina that has an aged look. No exotic or endangered skins used.

Q. Are your watches waterproof?
A. No, they are not. Do not immerse them in water and do not expose them to other extreme conditions.

Q. How are your watches packaged?
A. Each watch is individually packaged and protected in a sleek custom-made box.

Q. How and where do I send products back for warranty repair or other repairs?
A. Products should be sent to our customer service department along with a warranty or proof of purchase and reason for the return. Please include your name, address and contact telephone number. If the product is not covered by a warranty or it has expired, we will contact you regarding the repair costs. Contact repairs@tokyobayinc.com with any questions you may have.

Q. Do the materials that Tokyo Bay uses in production of Bags and Watches comply with product safety requirements?
A. TOKYObay is committed to providing fashionable and wearable accessories which are safe for both our manufacturers and our consumers. All faux leather and synthetic materials used in TOKYObay’s bag production are tested for lead content by SGS, an internationally approved lab located in Guangzhou, China. SGS upholds accurate testing methods in compliance with laws pertaining to all synthetic goods imported into the U.S. TOKYObay receives a chemical test certificate from each batch of materials used seasonally which show results in compliance with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act of 2008. Our watch and clock production follow the same stringent testing through SGS. The metal and substrate materials are examined for a permissible limit of lead (0.03%) under the Federal Hazardous Substances Act. TOKYObay do not import any item into the US until official documentation with a Pass approval is issued from the SGS lab.
